Every phone, watch, and laptop already broadcasts a digital ID. Those signals exist whether or not a Memora M1 is in the room. The M1 just writes them down. To you, to us, and to anyone who might get their hands on the device, those IDs are random numbers. There is no app that turns them into a name. Police have the tools and the legal process to do that, and only through an active report.
The same design rules out stalking. Stalking tools all work the same way: they show someone where you are, right now. The Memora M1 refuses to do that for anyone. No cameras, no microphones, and live GPS is never shown to the owner. It exists in exactly one place: Recovery Mode, released to law enforcement through an active report. That isn't a policy we promise to follow. It's how the system is built.
